Topic: Challenges and Opportunities in Meeting the Tier III Standards and Other Emission Requirements
The first CIMAC Circle in co-operation with CIMAC NMA India at INMEX SMM India, Mumbai is scheduled for October 4, 2017.
CIMAC and NMA India have organised for a compelling programme to discuss the most stringent emission requirements yet for vessels in NOx Emission Control Areas, and how to assure your engines will pass periodic inspections. The different types of dedicated NOx emission control technologies will be compared including water induction in combustion processes, exhaust gas recirculation and selective catalytic reduction. What are potential cost and efficiency benefits of compliance with the latest International Maritime Organization (IMO) requirements and the Indian Shipping industry’s preparedness regarding this? And what mistakes have early adopters made from which the rest of the maritime community can learn?
The following are the confirmed panelists and the chair for the CIMAC Circle at INMEX SMM India.
